National Skill Training Institute for Women, Mumbai (Erstwhile Regional Vocational Training Institute for Women) was established in 1977 with an objective to empower women by providing them various courses of Vocational Training under the aegis of Women Training, Directorate General of Employment & Training, Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India.
