Kendriya Vidyalaya Chatra, Jharkhand was established in the year 2017 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Number 2 Angul started in the year 2017 in the temporary building provided by Railway. The vidyalaya is a single section school with one section in each class.

Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya is situated at Panikoili, which is 18 K.M. from Jajpur Road and 25 K.M. from Jajpur Town. This Vidyalaya is established during the session 2006-07 and has been functioning from 2006. Now the Vidyalaya is functioning from Class VI to XII in Permanent site.
