Kendriya Vidyalaya C.R.P.F, Durgapur, West Bengal was established in the year 1981 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) has been set up by the Ministry of Education to manage and regulate the joint seat allocation for admissions to institutes.

Kendriya Vidyalaya's are pace setting institutions in the country and Kendriya Vidyalaya Mysore in Karnataka is no exception. This school came into existence on 01-07-1993 under Civil Sector with classes I to V in a temporary accommodation in DFRL campus with strength of about 100 students.

The vidyalaya was established in 1996 in 4.083 Hectors of land at Port Bair. The vidyalaya is under the civil sector and has an enrollment of 1535 as on date comprising 785 boys and 750 girls. It is a three section school from I to X and has four sections XI and XII classes offering Science, Commerce and Humanities streams.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Ernakulam Region, newly constituted in April 2012 and one among the 25 Regions of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

Through the KAPILA Kalam Programme, the government will spread awareness with the help of educational programs about the importance of patenting an invention, to lead India towards self-reliance. It aims to tap the resources in the field of Intellectual Property to come ahead with their inventions and blend it towards Patents.
