Kendriya Vidyalayas are Providing program for a uniform education to the children of the central government, including defense, semi-military personnel, fulfilling all their academic expectations.

The Region hosts a huge cluster of 70+ Kendriya Vidyalayas in which 19 Kendriya Vidyalayas are under Defence Sector, 47 under Civil Sector, 05 under Project Sector and 01 under Institute of Higher Learning.

Kendriya Vidyalaya, Puranattukara, took her first breath in 1985 in a humble physical set-up. Her progressive strides ever since have many a time, won accolade for her. It is coming under Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (Chennai Region), an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

The channel aims to develop the indigenous IT platform as it facilitates hosting of all the courses for UG and PG, to be accessed by anyone, anytime. Each course has been carefully designed and presented in such a manner that it shall develop curiosity in the minds of the learner. It will provide a comprehensive understanding of the respective subject. There is a fresh content of 6 hours repeated 3 times a day,

Kendriya Vidyalaya, Singharsi, is a Defence Sector co-education school. It started in 1971. Since then it has been doing a commendable service to the defence personnel as well as the hamlets around.
