The school was established in 1993. Kendriya Vidyalaya is a Co-ed school affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). It is managed by Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Roing, Tinsukia was established in the year 2012 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Hanumangarh, Jaipur was established in the year 2015 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.
