Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 2 Ahmednagar was established in the year 1985 with the view to provide higher education for the escape of the defense personnel. The schools established in the defense sector meet the children of defense and especially the paramilitary personnel and in general the need of education of temporary population, along with those of other departments of Central and State Governments.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Pusa Samastipur, Patna was established in the year 1989 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Sidhi, Jabalpur was established in the year 1994 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Minicoy, Lakshadweep is a co-educational institution established in 1988 functions under Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti, which is an autonomous organization under the auspices of the Dept of School Education & Literacy.

Kendriya Vidyalaya BSF, Bandipur was established in the year 1965 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

This Vidyalaya started functioning in the academic year 1984 at Air Force Station Suryalanka Bapatla. The Vidyalaya aims at all round personality development of the students. This Vidyalaya has got good infrastructural facility with well equipped laboratories and Departments helping in imparting quality education.
