Kendriya Vidyalaya Agartala No.1, Kunjaban was established in the year 1967 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education. It is a civil sector school catering to the educational needs of the students of Tripura.
